Here's the current progress to me learning how to do painterly technique for Antonio Chandrani-Rivera and Alejandro Altaha (over a 2024 comic panel). I color them based on how they actually look in my head. Progress will be slowww, but will work on it more often now.

I miss QRO so much. It was the only MMO I liked as a kid and no other MMO ever caught me so much. Plus it played really well into my love for early japanese(animeesque?) interpretation of fantasy aesthethic.

if we get a Smash Ultimate Switch 2 edition with more waves of new DLC fighters, I REALLY hope that we get more distinct character variety than what we mostly got with the original Fighters Passes in that of mostly being dominated by "animeesque humans"

I saw people saying glitch’s KOG looked too VLD-ish and i was like???? They look nothing alike, now i realise they actually meant animeesque
(people saying KOG looks too anime is funny to me because one of the most influential mangaka‘s art style was SUPER influenced by disney)

because i’ve gone back to my original style and stopped attempting to draw in a more traditionally animeesque one, i have temporarily closed commissions. i will finish those i have and when i reopen comms it will be in the style im more comfortable with, with adjusted prices. 🙇

Don't really change profiles, but I tend to replace my phone and computer backgrounds with winterish images after Thanksgiving. I collect animeesque art images and set it as a slideshow. A second monitor helped in actually seeing them.

lol I got shit for it, but I think they sorta fell into an animeesque formula with Shadowbringers that is just how they do things, and they've refined that since, but I was a fan of the earlier story and felt more 'real', even if less refined
