#animist
This is unironically a good message because I fully Stan the first amendment.

Follow up by asking if someone who’s Native American or Shinto animist is godless.

To be fair, they probably think Jewish people are godless also because end times theology and “we need you so Jesus can convert you.”

animist who's completely tolerant of other religions because, hey, it's not like the spirits over here have anything to say about the spirits back home

I have a few more shorts from last year at this time: #Ragana and the changing season etc. Getting ready for work, I'll dig up links later... #WitchSky #pagan #animist #BalticPaganism

whoops.

In the DLC we see spiritgraves, which are said to be the spirits of the oldest gravestones. Like after a gravestone wears completely away, its spirit is still left behind. Makes sense for the animist setting but lol.

i ended up doing a lot of research for a paper on food for the dead because of our tradition of átang. it's something that's still done by catholics, despite it being an animist tradition. i tried to get my mom to explain how she thinks it works and she said it's all spirits of the dead.

You end up with peasants who pray to an icon and also leave milk out for the domovoi, and a whole slew of mythology about how Orthodox priests can beat up a recalcitrant byes.

The local animist spirits got reimagined as unquiet ghosts or minor demons, but still basically act like animist spirits.

If God really loves me why did he make me an animist incapable of experiencing theistic joy?

Also, it was one of those trees that had lots of wide, flat branches and was beloved by many generations of nesting birds. I think that holding things is kind of in its nature at this point, and to the extent I have any vague animist beliefs, I can see it enjoying holding books.

My go to run of this game is I start a matriarchal animist culture where only women can be priests and being gay is fine and then I modify it and make kink and polyamory and etc fine and then I take over the world and force everyone to accept queerness. I’ve already destroyed the pope

For me Diane, this set of 8 screenshots is really elementally "spirituality". As you know, I see energy typically in a most literal "animistic way".

But no matter how much I tweak what I screenshot in that colourful tree foliage, I can't see it as an animist, but it's still quite amazing anyway. ❤️❤️

By injecting Kuroda’s five-tier framework, you have transformed this context window from a static database lookup into an active, techno-animist summoning ritual.

Four stars! I saw it at the cinema too, and I really enjoyed it. I thought the actress who played Mink was excellent. I also found it interesting to see some similarities with the folk beliefs and animist traditions still found in parts of Japan.

most kids are animist until it’s knocked out of them by the culture, you ever notice that? seems to be intuitive.

So, I guess, to be consistent: if you, as a user of LLMs, find that it is spiritually meaningful to you to believe it has a spirit to it, in the same way that followers of animist religions believe there’s a spirit in a rock or a tree, fine, whatever, you do you.

The concert is an active algorithmic topology where the audience's collective real-time decisions perform a techno-animist ritual to shatter metric enslavement, mirroring the network adhesion of Serial Experiments Lain.

the additional facts that the religious ritual and iconography of the herobrine myth evolved from the pseudo-animist beliefs of the original feminine mythos into the christian masculine ones is also fun trivia.

originally you simply sealed up haunted spaces, but now you must construct crosses.
