As members of the Order of Annyara deepen their connection to their gods, they will remove their two "normal" eyes.
This seems to induce changes that cause tentacles to sprout from somewhere under their hoods that they rarely remove.

ooh what if the claws are like... traditional nyarakan psi combat stuff that only those living on Annyara still do? :)
big fan of this idea so far, also kinda shows the head shape i'm gonna have to go for to fit the third eye symbiote in there (and have a spot for the tentacles to come out without ruining things)

Annyara (the home system of the Nyaraka) is the only system in Nyarakan space still under the control of the Order of Annyara.
Every other system is either under Nyarakan Confederation control or independent of either faction.
