ohhhh idk about that. I've also played through FF1 and 2 (the PS1 versions but the layouts are unchanged)
3 is pretty rough with the dungeons, especially the final one, but none of those hold a candle to Phantasy Star 2's anthills of dungeons
Still if you can handle FF3 then Grandia 1 will be fine
