Illustration of a small purple monkey lying down on a saucer and eating several, various berries. Below that image is an illustration of Anthy Himemiya and Utena Tenjou from the anime Revolutionary girl Utena sitting with the backs to the viewer and watching the monkey eat. Anthy says "The godless beast enjoys its wretched meal."

Y'know, watching episode 4 of RGU and like, Anthy is being used as a scapegoat for this trio of g girls to prop up a boy. "oh our beloved Miki dropped out of the competition so it's Anthy's fault!" Bird behavior!

Oh, forgive me, Lord, oh, I'm a good girl
I'd never hurt a fly, but I've got walls to climb
Oh, forgive me, Lord, oh, a minor chord
You put me in this house, I had to claw right out

Drawing of Anthy the rose bride from Revolutionary Girl Utena laying back in a closed pillowy coffin surrounded by white roses. She has a piercing gaze through the soft shadows in the back of the coffin. Her dress is a bright red and her hair a rich violet.

[ID: A digital drawing of Anthy Himemiya from Revolutionary Girl Utena. She is a girl with dark skin and purple hair. She is facing slightly downwards, but looking back at the viewer. Her nose is sloped gently, and she looks tired. Anthy's bangs are curled inwards, and her hair is pulled up into roselike buns. She is wearing a red collared sleeveless vest with yellow and gold detailing. The background is a screenshot of her greenhouse from the show. End ID]

Since the Utena meme was popular (on tumblr) I decided to draw Anthy into one. I felt this one was right and I think about it often.
