One of my very favorite irises, the Anvil of Darkness, growing in one of our flower beds, has bloomed for me again this year. I’m always excited to see her. Last year, she bloomed in May under a Flower Moon. This year, closer to my birthday in April.

Hoping that my Anvil of Darkness (seen last yr) returns to bless me. She opened for the first time under the Flower Moon aft a 2-year sleep. I know it’s just a plant, but it really felt magical. Welcome, sister!
