Honestly, I'm just sad now. When I was starting out, I always dreamed of writing for ANN. It was a dream come true when Lynzee recruited me to write their Sakura Wars TV review back in 2020, and to sit on a panel with them at ANYC in August.
It just hurts to see this happen, you know?

No. I’m aNYC resident. We’ve watched a Mayor do lots of fixes in a small amount of time
It’s slow , careful work, that CAN BE DONE WHEN WE APPLY OURSELVES , and the anger people are feeling is that people aren’t even saying they will apply
Because people are doing the work

Actually, positive change is slow, difficult and incremental by nature.
Destroying is fast, building is slow. It is easy to bring misery to people - any idiot can do it, as Trump shows - but very hard to improve their conditions. Building a better society is slow, careful, patient work.

I literally wanted to ask about this at ANYC but couldn't because some dickhead in front of me wasted 15 minutes to try and explain to the director and producers what he meant when he asked about a GitS video game.
I'm glad it's happening.

I think they might be saying I got the glove color wrong too. They have yellow gloves, a yellow duck and more.
A gun is on the page too.

I was working next to the NYC richi club table at ANYC gaming room and I went back a second time to also get the lanyard. Was thinking I should have gotten the red version of the keychain for my partner he plays a lot more than me

NYCC Day 2. Better show floor, middling (and smaller than before) artist alley and better programming than ANYC. Friday was noticeably more crowded. I probably won't attend the Saturday session ever. #NYCC

yeah i haven't been in a long while but it's seriously overwhelming and ANYC is quaint by comparison, which is saying a lot

Received my kickstarter package from

Been looking forward to this for a couple of years (when I initially encountered her in ANYC and learned about the project).
Can’t wait to read it.

LRP: Someone needed to hang these up in the ANYC artist alley. Mamdani fanart was as weird and tacky as Obama fanart was in 2008.

Welp.. ANYC had a good run.
Just read that Informa, the company that owns all the Fan Expo shows, just bought the company that owns Left Field Media (Rose City Comic Con, Awesome Con, Anime NYC, and Anime Frontier.)
