My extremely humble attempt to draw Sam Carter from Stargate.
I have learnt two things:
1. Finding a "style" is hard.
2. Hair is harder.

Today's #AphantasiaArt offering.
I have literal gauges with notches on them set up in my file to help me with proportions, but once I'm more familiar with face shapes in general, I'll begin to work without them.
That's how I learn; I need my pool floaties.

3/4 angle faces are hard, y'all. So, I scurried back to my comfort zone; heads from the front.
I decided to stretch a little though, by working on figuring out a system for shading. 17 million layers later, this is what I landed on.
Messy, but I'm delighted.
