Here to make a mistake.

So many covers and none of them reassuring.

This film was made with a budget of $2,500 and ended up grossing over $500,000 in video sales. Mark Pirro (who stars ad Dupah) would continue to make schlocky films like Buford's Beach Bunnies, Nudist Colony of the Dead, & Rectuma. Salute to a sleazemeister!

Folks, apparently Mark Pirro went on to fulfill the Queerwolf prophecy ...

A Polish Vampire in Burbank was directed by Mark Pirro; and when I say Mark Pirro, I, of course, mean Troma founder Lloyd Kaufman wearing a fake goatee and a "Hello! My Name Is Mark Pirro" sticker.

I would love a spin-off franchise of A Polish Vampire in Burbank that's a Song Song Blue-esque musical biopic about the Sonny and Cher impersonators ...

It should come as a surprise to nobody here that A Polish Vampire in Burbank was standard fare on USA Up All Night, being featured five different times on the cult film showcase through its run.

Queerwolf is just begging for a John Waters adaptation ... I'd camp outside of the theater like it was a Star Wars premiere ...

Hearing Eddie Deezen's gloriously iconic voice being dubbed by someone who vaguely sounds like Eddie Deezen is like going to a Sinatra concert and hearing him badly lip-synch Bobby Darin covers of Sinatra songs.

The corpse of Ronald Reagan would like to remind everyone watching that since this film was made in 1983, so Dupah is also a Communist Vampire ... This public service annoucement was brought to you by The NEW John Birch Society.

Unironically loving the off-kilter sound editing for this film! Feels kinda like a sub-par American International Pictures distribution of a Toho film; only the white people aren't all just astronauts named Glenn!

If anyone's wondering how we got here, it's because it was the next Tubi suggestion after I Bought a Vampire Motorcycle.

Just sayin.
