tonight at board game night we played a game called Apothebakery. it was very cute and the components were great, but the game was only so-so. it felt like it was trying to employ 6-7 game mechanics partially instead of focusing on 2-3 game mechanics strongly

Got in a good mix of new games and old this month and I learned I still love Spirit Island and I'm still horrible at Space Base!😂 Too interested in the money engine to get the points engine rolling.

Anyone else have a game they've always been a rubbish at but still like to play?
