Donnie actually just doesn't know how to use social media so he was copying his best friend/ girlfriend. April also just wanted to mess with him....and maybe see some muscles.

I was also just thinking... this image makes it even more amusing because some antis are also against Apriltello too- especially in Rise since she's "like a sister" more than other iterations so they blanket it along with tcest kinda like 2012 LeoRai as well.

Get to know my otp featuring 2012 Apriltello!!! I like to think April is super casual and relaxed in a relationship. She'll also absent mindedly hold Donnies hand, or arm without realizing it. Also, judging by the show she does not care if she kisses or hugs Donnie in public. If she wants to kiss her boyfriend in the McDonald's by golly she's gonna do it!! Meanwhile Donnie is more shy and scared of teasing, so outside of trusted individuals he's just not confident enough. However in trusted company this man is the clingiest guy ever. He can't help it, he loves his girlfriend so much. He'll constantly have his arm around her, leaning on her shoulder, hugging her, or resting his head on her shoulder from behind while talking. And April doesn't mind one bit. If he's in the way she'll just guide him over to her other side to snuggle. I dunno who confesses first man. I can see it going either way. They both struggle with communication😭. See painful slow burn. I added chaotic/into that cuz April never once tried to stop Donnie from muddering Don Vizioso. She's just like, good luck sweetie!😭 REWRITE THE STARS IS SO APRILTELLO CODDED I SWEAR. Also shout out to Charcoal for introducing me to She Said Maybe. Apriltello song ever. and that’s fair !! like i said i used to be a HUGEEE apriltello fan. i don’t hate them or anything now, i still think they’re cute, but their conclusion was less than satisfactory after what we were given 💔💔 but oh well. that’s why i love ppl’s rewrites of the show
