I think that GW could breathe a lot of life into the Imperial Agents army if they just allowed Tempestus Scions and Aquillons in, since Inquisitorial Stormtroopers have always been a thing.

Test model for my Tempestus Aquillons is done. Now to start the batch painting process. I'm going to get everyone else basecoated at the same time, and then paint them in groups of 5, and 4. I'll probably paint the sentry separately.

I lost a close game on points but took out all but one Aquillon that stayed back and never fired a shot. Fun game, my charge and fight interspersed with big impact shots for both

Kill Team game earlier, my Kroot Farstalker Kinband vs Tempestus Aquillons on rad metallic blue Tomb World terrain.
I lost a close game on points but took out all but one Aquillon that stayed back and never fired a shot. Fun game, my charge and fight interspersed with big impact shots for both

I certainly didn't need to buy 3 more units of infantry and a command squad to add to my Astra Militarum army, or the Aquillons, or give myself the project of kitbashing them all into Valhallan Ice Warriors, but by the Emperor's grace I am going to do it anyway.

Finally finished painting up two of my first 3d printed KILL TEAM proxies. I got some actually cool boar men to be Felgor Ravagers and a team that looks almost 100% like the Tempestes Aquillons.
Of note, both these teams were left than half the cost of the official teams.

Cat-folk for the iron sultanate. Alchemists who care more for the aesthetics of their creations than making beasts of war and are assigned to be disposable guards for emissaries. Hopefully I can make them work as Brood brothers and the newer Aquillons. 3/3

That was only my second time playing the Kroot and the last time was a long while ago before they got some stat changes. They're a lot of fun. I probably couldn't have gotten away with some of the moves I made vs Astartes, might have had to play cagier. But it was a blast against Aquillons.

today is priming day for the aquillons. i have built all 10 of them* and will have to finally decide on a color. :v
