I was reminded that, like...

It's outright stated that Shady Sands, like...is...pretty clearly Hindu in their religious, Aradesh namedrops Krishna, they call their cattle brahman, NCR should be nominally Hindu

Like

in the same way that our culture is nominally Christian

when he lowk has “legion femboy:3” “BOS give us your toaster” humor but you genuinely haven’t gotten play since the aradesh administration

I think Tandi and Aradesh are South Asian, but your point stands

Always love to see this one again. That frame of Aradesh is filled with such bliss and is just perfect for this

this is like half-joking, the absolute lack of mentions to Aradesh and Tandi do drive me up the wall

Thara’thull’s statue looms over the tomb of King Aradesh the Corrupted. The Guardian ensures the corruption remains sealed, but the insectoid army now threatens to unearth what should stay buried.

Acabei de me dar conta de que só chamam os bois radioativos de brahmin porque foi um Indiano que começou isso (Aradesh)

the truth is, the NCR was doomed nearly from the start. Not only was Aradesh succeeded by Tandi, his own daughter, she stayed in power for fifty-two years. absolutely monarchial bullshit. she was the prime architect of its downfall.

i love how the Oblivion remaster handled the look of the characters, it reminds me of the talking heads in the Fallout games. they have the same cartoonish realism and i like how in the remaster when you initiate dialogue the background blurs and darkens (like you're locked into a talking head)

im glad you draw Aradesh with his canonical prune eyes

É muito engraçado como o Aradesh morreu em nome da fofoca meu deus o goat
April 23, 2026 at 8:23 PM
I did a low intelligence run of fallout 1… (I stopped at aradesh)
January 15, 2026 at 1:33 AM
Pra mim o Aradesh é o Lula, a Tandi é a Dilma e o Kimball é o Haddad

Aradesh é de origem sul-asiatica. Gosto de pensar nele e na Tandi como descendentes de indianos

Something I always loved about the early Fallout games was the talking heads for certain characters. They actually made clay heads that they scanned in and then touched them up and animated them with CGI. Makes them a lot more expressive (and comically grotesque) than '90s CGI alone was capable of.

Also yes. The nurse IS Tandi. I'm not sure where I want to place this, likely post New Vegas timeline-wise because the NCR would have lost all of these to basically any of the opposing forces.

Using Tandi, Ananta (my chosen one), and Aradesh here is absolutely something I think they'd do.

Just finished Fallout (1997). Tech issues aside, phenomenal and highly influential, one of the tightest and most focused main quest lines in an RPG. The stakes escalate with every town, and the time pressure helps with the feeling of being a drifter. The end game weapons are immensely satisfying.
