The biggest issue with all of these diagramming and notation languages is that they are impenetrable to outsiders.

I spent weeks on a system architecture in ArchiMate but explaining hash line vs solid line with a solid diamond vs open arrow meant I had to bin it and redraw it using flowcharts

I've been working with Claude Code to generate ArchiMate icons.

Me: The Representation symbol is still not correct.
Claude: Let me actually look at the rendered shape instead of guessing again.

If Claude was my employee, we'd be having a serious career conversation right now.

It seems to me that solution architecture and design in the AI world is just the usual solution architecture and design with more black boxes, and more emphasis on the system actor. What am I missing? #UML #BPMN #ArchiMate

Voor die ene onzekere lepel die mij volgt en ook iets van Archimate kent: zijne frank is gevallen toen ik hem er op wees dat een interface een active structural element was en geen behaviour.

Nu staat mijnheer doodleuk te vertellen dat assigment eigenlijk zijn voorkeur geniet. 'k heb het gezien 🤡

Ik zeg dat het nochthans in de archimate standaard staat. Die komt terug met "tut tut tut, de definitie van de interface zegt dat het een access point is, dus die (be)dient de service."

Zit ie te beweren dat een archimate interface niet assigned mag zijn aan een service. Het moet een 'serves' relatie zijn.
