A three story Italianate brick building gets a new paint job for its first floor commercial on neighborhood street. Cincinnati punks hang outside of gray and black dive bar in the city's Northside. What looks like a former fire station and adjoining house. A typical rectangular facade has a setback first floor with full-length windows with black trim. A narrow mansard roof extension houses the stairway to the hidden door. Ivy creeps up the tucked away entrance. An old tavern, painted in orange with green entryway, is in the process of rehab. Cartoon-like graffiti covers the temporarily boarded windows. A red sign with white text reads, "Knowlton Tavern LLC."

And four houses from the artists enclave. Feel like the Northside would be my ideal neighborhood. In-between days. Bohemian. A cool corner of the city.

Three neighboring brick homes on typically narrow Cincinnati lots. the first home features blue-painted brick, white and gold accents and a mansard roof. The wrap around porch is decked out for the 4th of July. A narrow brick home with a pitched roof painted in white with gray and red accents. Planters line the porch. Sunflowers line up along the home's side street frontage. A small white home with a full story mansard roof painted in white and teal. Dirt covers the siding and roof. A baby blue brick home with another variation of a mansard roof. The side of the home retains the original orange-brown brick.
