JONESBORO – U.S. Senator Hattie Caraway will be honored at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, with the placement of a historical marker by the Arkansas250 Commission. The marker will be placed at the V.C. Kays House, located at 2506 Aggie Rd. on the campus of Arkansas State University. “I’m excited that the Arkansas250 Commission has chosen to honor Senator Caraway with a historical marker on campus,” said Dr. Adam Long, executive director of the A-State Heritage Sites. This is the fifth of 11 markers being placed across the state, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the establishment of the United States following the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
