Just got my Pocket Nova in the mail. I'll write a blog post about this later, as I get ArmadaOS installed, and get to know this thing better. The size feels just right for my small hands, though the ergonomics are quite rough. The display also needed a better calibration profile.

couldn't get FF9's Memoria Mod to run in Winlator on my RP Nova. the vanilla game runs, but not the modified version.

Sí, antes tenías 2 formas, o meterle ArmadaOS, que implica tener otro sistema operativo en la microsd y es un coñazo, o tirar de programas de terceros, como Gamenative o similares para lanzar juegos. Si consiguen hacerlo funcionar así, será mucho más sencillo, y sin salirte de tu Android.

Absolutely loving ArmadaOS, FEX, and how we have tiny little pocketable steam decks these days :) Valve making SteamOS Open Source was a huge boon for gaming.

trying out ArmadaOS on my ayn thor just running off microSD for now and god damn even just testing Persona 3 Reload performance is such a massive improvement compared to gamenative, wild. running at 720p in the school it's like, 30 frames at *worst* w/tons of faceless students, otherwise 40~50

This absolutely seems like noteworthy hardware, but as is usually the case with Valve is the software is even more interesting. By funding FEX Valve has enabled any Snapdragon handheld to play x86 games on ARM both through GameNative and SteamOS distros like ArmadaOS. And it works quite well!
