I have a 1959 West German army parka with a padded liner. Only one batch of them like that. Has a different design to modern ones, too. Elbow pads and stuff. Changed in the early 60s I think. Ignore the cat.

A vintage Bundeswehr (West German Army) parka from 1959. These are an iconic cold war design and became a staple of counter culture clothing for decades. This one is very rare. Another shot of the parka from the side so that you can see the elbow pads, which are a part of the early design that was changed for another in the 60s. A shot of the inner padded liner of the parka with a cat asleep on it. This is super rare with only one batch made. They have a fine fleece liner traditionally.

NEW: Federal agents rolled into MacArthur Park in LA in an unmarked armored vehicle.

My source tells me Mayor Bass showed up with LAPD—and the so-called “agents” got the hell out.
