This was an article in the New York Times two years ago.

He’s done all of it.

Donovan: Would you agree that someone who hasn't read the article wouldn't know what the article was about?

Witt: She says "I don't know what laptop the article was referring to"

Well this article is harrowing
Here’s something you should know about minks:

They have lungs and airways remarkably similar on a cellular level to those of people.

They’ve spread flus and infected humans before with COVID-19.

Right now, bird flu is spreading on a Utah farm filled with thousands of them… 🧵

Donovan: But would you agree she was asked about an article she didn't read. So her response that she doesn't know what's in the article is correct?

Witt: She doesn't say she doesn't know what's in the article, she says she doesn't know about the laptop...she was familiar w/ the laptop

Truly excellent article from one of my favs!
I’ve been working for the last few months on this story about the SOF podcast world, how these shows shape perceptions of Afg/Iraq history for young viewers considering enlisting, and their influence on Hegseth’s GWOT “handcuffed” narrative and his vision of what war *should* look like.

Veterans’ complaints about the rules of engagement have reached Pete Hegseth and a generation of new recruits.

This is crazypants. The DOJ charged a former FBI agent with false statements because she told Congress she didn't know details about an article she didn't read.
Donovan: So your position is that if someone says "I don't know" in response to a question about an article they didn't read, that would be a false statement?

Witt: We believe her response "I don't know" is a false statement.

This is a primo guest article on Meidas - worth your time.
Trump wants a “little” war with Iran. But Iran gets a vote, too.

With oil at $117, missile defenses depleted, and Iran threatening massive retaliation, Brett Erickson explains why this could spiral out of control.
A "Little Epic Fury"? Impossible.
Trump calls a new war with Iran a 'little' Epic Fury. With oil at $117 and Iran vowing a painful response, nothing about it is little.
