Art helps us question what we’ve been told to accept. Every day, artists, activists, and cultural practitioners around the world do exactly that through music, performance, photography, writing, murals, movement, storytelling, and countless other forms of creative action. Much of this work begins locally. In response to a particular place, history or struggle. But when these acts are brought together, something else becomes visible: they are not isolated. That is the idea behind Global Artivism Month. This November, creative actions from around the world will come together, each rooted in its own context, but connected by a belief in art and culture's power to question, connect, and imagine differently. The work is already happening. Global Artivism Month is an invitation to see its collective force. 1 November – 10 December 2026 Take Part at globalartivism.org Kumi Naidoo Louisa Zondo #GlobalArtivismMonth #IamArtivism #Artivism
