A historical photo of a mild-looking married couple in an antique gold frame shows the truth about what happens in secret at home where no one can see: he, a musician, holds a tuning fork. Her mouth is taped shut and her hands are bound by a pair of matching wedding bands. In her hand is a diptych photo of a disembodied woman's nude torso on one side and a pair of disembodied female hands shackled by matching wedding bands on the other. In the foreground of the entire image is an overlay of the man's face, contorted with violent rage. A list of the names of the artists whose works were selected. Bridgett Crocker Emerson, this artist, is highlighted. A graphic announcing the online juried art exhibition at actlocle.org
