I e been wanting to draw so bad but I’ve been in uni for a little over a month now and so I’ve just been locked in 😭😭

But yeah here are some drawings I did for art class #art #uni #artmajor #lockingin
Grayscale sketch of two drawings of a bell pepper: the first one a whole bell pepper sitting crookedly but vertically; and a second one where it’s half of the bell pepper, and the seeds and sprout of a new bell pepper have began to grow inside of the pit. A futuristic sketch of a street dome in one-point perspective. You can see the road vanishing in the distance, while unusual building flank both sides of it. A lot of the buildings look like blocks stacked on top of each other, some look like square loops connected, and one is even on top of a cloud, floating above a pond with a tiny house on an island in the center of the body of water. There’s also an unusual “car” shaped like a fruit-by-the-foot with wheels that’s carrying humanoids and cat-shaped creatures. And a bird as well. A two-point perspective drawing of different rectangles and cubes being close and far from the camera. The closer they are to the center, the bigger they appear, and the closer they are to the sides of the drawing, the farther away they appear. Some are also back in the distance behind other rectangles.

BOY is there a whole economic lens on this but thankfully that is not my ministry #ArtMajor #ImScaredTho

I’ve been talking constantly with people in my home town in their 40s ”what are we gonna do economically when the over 50% of the population here that is over 65 and is on SSI starts to die in big chunks?” and boy nobody like it

I saw some understandable shock at these artists passing in short order but with all the love in my heart, the babiest boomer* (my mom) is 72. We will be in this for a decade(s), not to mention the Xers gone too early.

There are many batons across every field we must take! 🎨 🎤 🎸 🎭

It's a good thing I'm an art major
Sometimes when I scroll through bsky in public there's art that should be censored but isn't (I do have the filter on for the reason of public viewing) but since I'm in an art building no one bats an eye at some lewd/nsfw art lol

Barb (a tiger): "Yep." "Can I put a flyer in your window?" Panel 2: Jam: "It's an ad for my work in freelance as I'm between jobs." More quietly: "I have an art degree but the market is, ya know..." Panel 3: Jam: "A-anyway, it's not like I'm unhirable...I'm committed, detail-oriented, punctual..." Panel 4: Barb: "Wanna work here?" Jam: "HUH? I mean, yes! Please! Can I?"
