I had done corner flipbooks, but I was trying to get consistent photos to string them together. Graph paper definitely was NOT a great process haha
I did get eventually get one of these in college and taped a plastic animation peg bar to it, which was waaaay easier than the graph paper LOL

Wow, with traditional media?! Amazing. If you ink over the original pencils, maybe make a scan of the pencils before inking, and if needed you can print another page to ink a second time (or more)? Or perhaps, a fresh sheet over the originals on a light box? www.shopartograph.com/collections/...

i like my artograph one. i can adjust the levels quite a bit. the plug is the only issue i have. cuz of the design it's easy to catch on corners.

Are these artworks suddenly not acceptable, because I initially TRACED an outline for them?? Do the hours of work mean nothing? The use of medium? Does using an Artograph (actual projector brand name) mean I'm cheating, because I didn't eyeball every single aspect of the work?

I’m happy fluorescent bulbs are obsolete. They just look bad and dull. Also should I modernize my artograph tracer with modern leds or should I leave it the way it is for historic purposes?

I was taught to trace (Artograph and lightbox) by hall of famers from Society of Illustrators. Anyone who thinks it’s cheating can take it up with them. :)

Hi Q, I have an Artograph Flare that is a piece of crap, and expensive. I’m looking at the Pico Genie picogenie.com/products/pic... to replace it.
Otherwise, good old analog Artographs are available used for a fraction of the cost, but the keystone correction on the Genie is pretty hard to beat.
