I was happy to teach an oil painting workshop to several brave students at the Arts Education Institute, and as a bonus I got to see the current Midwest Nice Art exhibition!

In this mediocre selfie, a nerdy art patron with a red bandana peeks into the lower left corner of a white walled art gallery filled with nice artwork, as a more handsome nerd peeks into the frame in the middle ground.

This photograph depicts art educator Klaire Lockheart a little out of focus because the emphasis is placed on her right hand as she grabs a smidge of yellow ochre with a wide metal palette knife off a glass painting palette

I taught an oil painting workshop at the Arts Education Institute. It’s okay for you to be jealous if you weren’t able to attend.

A photograph of several very patient artists gathered together within an art studio to listen to the instructor, clad in a green apron, who is leaning around an easel to point at a small sample painting with their right hand. Within the painting room at Northern State University, Klaire Lockheart instructs several art students whilst encircled by numerous paintings-in-progress perched on wooden easels. Flanked by two attentive artists, painting educator Klaire Lockheart speaks while giving an art demonstration regarding the partially finished oil sketch behind her and using the painting palette before her.
