I’m interested in this and the ties of neopaganism/heathenism to this movement. Was in a shop looking at a book on Asatru and needed to be sure it was not Nazi dreck. But shop was woman/queer owned and they assured me it was not.

I never said European Christians haven't been violent. The point I was making is that we should not have rose-tinted views of pre-Christian beliefs such as Wicca, Ásatru or generic paganism. Those beliefs and societies were also based on tribal violence. They weren't peaceful nature-attuned hippies.
