i got to experience the cultures and traditions of places most people have never even heard of. i’ve been to ashrams, churches, temples, and shrines… passover seders, quinceaneras, bar mitzvahs, sweat lodges, new year festivals, and Indian weddings.

Enrollment in African obedience schools has skyrocketed in the past couple of years as Caucasian males search for meaning in their aimless lives. Unlike how in the sixties young Westerners went to ashrams in India, this is a lifetime one-way journey.

These people are batshit crazy. That's not religion, that's a massive con game. I've meditated for decades, visited ashrams, and gurus, and real faith is quiet and deeply personal. God doesn't need huckster middlemen and botox barbies controlling the narrative and abusing innocent people.
