Just watched Three Thousand (Asinnajaq, 2017) on the NFB website. It's a stunning speculative documentary in the style of Irene Lusztig's The Motherhood Archives or Caroline Martel's The Phantom of the Operator. Plus, it's short and free!

Many notable Inuit artists come from Inukjuak. For example, Leah Nuvalinga Qumaluk made 95+ stoneblock prints. Filmmaker asinnajaq is known for her short Three Thousand, celebrating Inuit identity in film.
