This is part of a series of imaginary paintings I call "Winter Air". One of my favorite subjects to paint. Can you feel the crisp air? :)

In "Shine Bright" I was trying to achieve the feeling of being right in a bright shiny aspen forest in fall.
It will be part of a show by the RGAA at the Weems Gallery in Albuquerque, coming up in March.

"Shine Bright" - the side light here sure makes it shine bright, lol. This one is going to be exhibited amongst other paintings of mine at the upcoming Corrales Studio Tour, May 3-4, in the Bosque Gallery in Corrales. Come by and check it out if you are in the area.
