My #AstroRig was just enhanced a bit. I added a 14" Meade LX200 ACF to the barn today. In no rush for it to arrive, since I can't do anything with it until the end of March at the earliest, but *damn* am I excited!

We’re expecting 10-18” of snow and it’s been cloudy for almost a month.🙄So here’s my main rig at the moment. I plan to capture some planetary shots after it stops #astrophotography #astrorig #astrogear #telescope #oag #guidecamera #zwo #askar #celestron #eaf #asiair #asi2600 #asi174 #edgehd #edgehd8

Got abt 6 hrs of data with IC 342 (Hidden galaxy)-basically all the dust in our galaxy in this celestial pole area obscures the galaxy otherwise it'd be brighte as Andromeda..hope to get more data but tracking has been difficult along with weather

Like some science fiction movie rocket about to launch, my #AstroRig stands ready for first light of the season. Unfortuntaely, that's not going to be for at least another week or so, given the weather. But at least it's ready! #Astrophotography 🔭

Fail. The #Seestar didn't have anything connected to it (the app, an active target, etc) so it went to sleep. Never woke up. It spent the night camping under the stars.
Meanwhile, my main #AstroRig was primed and ready to go but Windows rebooted and killed NINA so no go there, either. 😡🔭🦛

here's my #AstroRig! The tagboard tube on the front is my jerry-rigged diffraction spike maker 😂 I also upload my photos to Astrobin - I enjoy looking at my progress with imaging and processing

Here's my #Astrophotography setup. People have said the concrete pier is a bit overkill for what I put on it, but it works great and someday I may get a mount that will really benefit from the rock-solid base.
