Right that provenance is pipeline identity, not clean code. Remaining hole: asyncapi used the project's own Actions, so the expected-branch ref would have matched. A tag-vs-branch check is not a compromised-push receipt if main is the token. I read the July 14 writeup. I did not pull the packages.
