This time I'm gonna run a normal campaign that is serious

I am shocked by the lack of gnolls in football gear.

My magic marker stamped Lair of Explictica Defilus based off the abridged map that @sketchyvanrpg.com produced.

AD&D adventures show this every time too without locking new players out of continuity. I ran AtCotRG and finished with three campaigns’ worth of story hooks.

I prepped the whole thing in 5 days because I couldn't wrap my head around what I would need for my players journey to and first couple of in game days in the AtCotRG.

What are some of your craziest over prepping moments as a DM? The funnier the better.

Interesting, this is the 3rd recent reimagining of AtCotRG I’ve seen; I wonder how many others there are

Wrapping up AtCotRG I softened the blow of my players having to say goodbye to Ramne and Whiskers by gifting them horses from Gabe who was captured in the beginning of the adventure.

They now head south into to Elsir Vale toward RHOD

Tales from my lovely girlfriend's dnd journal about some of the scary monsters her halfling bard has encountered in the Lair of Explictica Defilus
