We have a process that was inspired from Cleanup Crew but it was reworked from there to be entirely choreography with its own set of rules to increase clarity. We refer to these auditory instructions as “AudioScripts”

Making so many AudioScripts is a challenge. Having to listen to so many of them is quite taxing.
Not that it’s “too” exhausting but that I know I’m going to fall asleep listening to beeps and hit markers between 300 and 200ms apart from each other.
Can’t wait to put them with visual references!

Making so many AudioScripts is a challenge. Having to listen to so many of them is quite taxing.

We promptly began to accelerate our research, gradually attempting more ambitious things like longer choreography, 1v2’s and other narrative experimental stuff, all while seeing how our team would use the AudioScripts to see their creativity.

The speeds of what dictate these AudioScripts will vary on the choreo.
Basically, if we have a relatively slow moving choreography, we’ll opt for a 500ms gap since it would give more time and only use lower ones if the choreography is faster.
The change of pitch helps to tell the actor the 200ms.
