The diagnostic criteria for autism are mostly a list of PTSD symptoms as they often present in Autistic boys.

People like autism parents and Autism Speaks, as well as certain celebrities, habitually reinforce the common misconception that autism doesn't occur in adults. It's often unintentional, but the pattern is clear.
