Écrire du Lua en strings depuis Python, j'ai toujours trouvé ça pénible : zéro linting, zéro autocomplétion, et les erreurs qui ne sortent qu'au runtime. Une vraie couche Python par-dessus, c'est le genre de détail qui change la vie. Merci pour la découverte !

i agree but when i refer to streamline parts of programming i mostly refer to it's use for things like improving autocompletion. I am completly opposed to any ai that straight up writes the whole code for you

I tried to use the “new siri.” It is horrible, worse than before because now it not only plays the wrong songs and fails to find the message I ask for, but also makes up bullshit excuses for why.

I am not claiming that they are useless, but I am more sticking to things along the lines like "autocompletion and web search on steroids". I.e. useful tools, but not the future intelligence. And, yes, I agree these AIs can be dangerous when left loose, but we've seen malware for decades now.

For me LSP is a weirdly specific mechanism of implementing autocompletion. I do use autocompletion a lot. Specifically Emacs by default autocompletes any word found in any currently opened file. I just don't understand why does it have to be a JSON-RPC Client-Server Architecture kind of thing.

And one more thing: we develop our games without AI, so we ask that you create your portfolio accordingly, or at least clearly indicate where AI has been used. For our purposes, “using AI” means anything beyond the most basic ideation during the conceptual phase and autocompletion when programming.
