For an “automatic” system it involved a lot of money, a lot of paperwork and a lot of time. If it was, as you say, automatic are you going to refund everyone who paid the Home Office’s contractors?

it cost us around fourteen thousand pounds over 5 years for my wife to settle across 3 applications, 3 language tests, a life in the UK test and much more. do you genuinely not understand your own immigration system, are you just making things up, or is it both?
