It is not about substance or money, it is about time, dependency, and brain chemicals. Do you ever catch yourself doing something optional, you are not having fun, but you feel you have to because the quiet is unbearable?

They go to rehab together.
A header image meant to use with tumblr functionality, a popular way to post spoilers. It contains a simple drawing of The kiwi from an old YouTube video, Nuggets and The Blue stick figure from Alan Becker's series greeting each other. The text reads: Animation vs Addiction Spoiler. By CrystalSpikes, in Krita. 16th Mar, 2025. A, mostly, vector art of Blue, a stick figure, interacting with a small grey cuboid. The canvas is a grey static, only broken by unnaturally bright colours in jagged shapes, but the grey static pattern still threaten to creep closer to Blue. It is mean to represent an addict's sensation of the world has dulled, making it seems uglier and more unbearable than it truly is. Blue is dependent on the highly loud, saturated colours. This half of art represent the "high", a break from reality. By CrystalSpikes, in Krita. 16th Mar, 2025. A free-hand drawn digital art of an unnamed Kiwi bird from a short video, Nuggets, by Filmbuilder & Friends. The Kiwi's body has deformed and deteriorate, as shown near the end of the original video. Above it, the bright golden nugget shines a ray of light. Doodles of torn, decaying wings are draw on the kiwi, shedding feathers everywhere as the bird fall down. The shape of the feathers blurred into droplets, the same colour as the golden nugget. The canvas is dark, near pitch black with only golden light barely illuminating it. This half represents the low, when the exhausted, unprepared brain is force to face the reality once more. By CrystalSpikes, in Krita. 16th Mar, 2025.
