Those killed in yesterday's helicopter crash in Dagestan included the chief engineer, chief helicopter construction instructor and deputy director of the sanctioned Kizlyar plant that makes avionics for Russian military aircraft.

Unless it’s a replica with modern avionics it’s incredibly reckless to fly an actual WW2 era aircraft now.

I'm 65, and I'm a DEI from 1979 as an avionics technician on military aircraft. Often times, I was the only woman. And 90% of the time, the guys were great. But that 10% sure tried to make my life miserable. I'd do it again.
