Lotta brainworms for the girls, esp with how they approach intimacy

Also general AymEli fluff

Many thoughts 😭

Since I recently saw a funny/weird take about this, #wolqotd for the players with WOLxNPC ships:

How did your ship come about?

Was it ship at first sight?
Did the ship form over time?
Was it a surprise to you too or so planned you custom made your character just for the ship?

Just curious... o3o

#AymEli , pronounced as “Emily” 🙂‍↕️ I just wanted something short and simple, and I like how it sounded.

🤍 Snow (RP partner) x Eliara = Frozen Rose

Aymeric and Eliara, walking in Ishgard, looking happily at each other. Aymeric is wearing the same outfit he wore in the private dinner cutscene. Eliara wears the Ishgardian gown that she wears whenever she visits. Snow (white-haired Viera), huddling up to Eliara who is resting in his arm and against his shoulder/collar bone area.

Most likely the dinner date cause there was no fucking way either of them would have made that move until they actually confessed lmao

That pic is a more extra variant of this between Aymeric and Eliara. And it's either Lucia, Estinien or even Firmalbert as the guy vibing.

You know what? It's 100% Firmalbert.

Hey, so about the clothing swap—

#LastRoselle • #AymEli • #woloc
Side by side comparison of Eliara and Aymeric with swapped color palettes. Something to particularly note is the fact that the color palettes for their clothing (at least in Eliara's Neo-Ishgardian outfit) are practically the same (blues, golds, and browns). The only things that truly get swapped were their hair and eye colors.

eliara-wol.bsky.social
The "it gets even funnier" part is the fact that, even with Aymeric's dinner outfit, the swap still applies thanks to touches of red on /both/ of these goobers' fits.

All I’m saying is that, to my fellow wolmeric shippers, there’s a reasonable chance that I came across your fics on ao3 during late 2020 which led me in wanting to try and cook up my own stuff for AymEli….. 🫡

XIV community, talk to me.

It's easy to say who you ship your OC with, but tell me how you came to your pairing. What ideas were going through your head when you made it?

(Note: this question is based on your thoughts and feelings, if you get upset, that's on you.)

In a lot of ways, #AymEli was both a slow burn and a “oh shit oh fuck” thanks to the combination of the Dinner Date and eventual reunion during late SB. I didn’t particularly thought much about Aymeric until the dinner… and even then (cont’d)

It’s drastic enough that Eliara is barely as tall as the sword Naegling lmao and you can bet that Eliara does her best to just be on her toes when kissing her man.

Aymeric is at least a gentleman enough to bend over and/or pick her up, when needed tho 😩

Day 10: Bond Eliara and Aymeric felt a sense of déjà vu standing there. The skies clear with the late afternoon sun didn’t help matters either. At the very least, arriving at the Vault this time resulted in an ending much more favorable compared to previously. Aymeric saw his beloved, who kept looking at the spot where Profane Fanfnir once stood, absentmindedly fiddling with the handle of her rapier. It was then and there that he made his decision.
