Can truthfully say it was one of the worst days of my life. I went home and typed a page of anguish for AZAPA. Later the phone rang, and they told me they'd found the truth and I'd made every effort to deliver the not-exactly-informative message. Sometimes I wonder what I typed. I guess I tossed it.

I am reminded of Teresa Nielsen Hayden's saga, many years ago, of getting "A Twig Up My Nose".
Alas, doesn't seem to be online. Thought maybe in her MAKING BOOK collection, but nope. I'd have to dig thru the boxes of old fanzines to find the AZAPA mailing it appeared in. It was a great story.
