Rhythm/Lead Guitar/BackingVocalist Wanted for Established Cover band (Southwest Suburbs) © craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap Accomplice is an established band looking to replace a member who has moved on. We need a guitar player to share lead/rhythm roles and has the ability to do higher note backing vocals. You will also be called on to sing lead occasionally. We do a lot of double leads, and we believe two lead guitarists are better than one. We are all in our 60’s and we play a variety of classic rock with a mix of some more recent material. We look for songs that are recognizable yet not played by a lot of other bands, so we won’t be asking you to play retread bar songs (re: Jessies Girl and Jenny Jenny) This may sound boastful, but we are a very good band looking for someone with considerable experience and will be be gig-ready in 2-3 months. We have a fantastic studio in Eden Prairie with all we need that remains set-up which makes rehearsal as easy as bringing your axe and plugging in. We all have jobs/businesses and real lives, so we typically gig once (sometimes twice) a month and get together for rehearsal weekly. Below is a list of songs that gives you the idea of our song list and we would expect you to be prepared to play (5 ) for an audition. 1) Are You Gonna Go My Way Lenny Kravitz 2) One Way Out Allman Brothers 3) Make love To You Foghat 4) Flirtin’ with Disaster Molly Hatchett 5) Even Flow Pearl Jam 6) Too Rolling Stoned Robin Trower 7) Snorting Whiskey Drinking Cocaine Pat Travers band 8) Time Pink Floyd 9) Roadhouse Blues The Doors 10) The Boys Are Back in Town Thin Lizzy 11) Mama Let Him Play Doucette 12) Simple Man Lynyrd Skynyrd

I see stuff like this and, while I don't begrudge these people their fun, if this is what they're into, I just marvel at how different the things people want out of music can be
