MYTH

#gpose #hinakodaigo
#misuzukurenai #tsukikogyokuto
A group standing or sitting atop a rocky outcropping. Clockwise from the top left: Ashelia, Natsumi, Tsukiko, Kurenai, Mozu, Kanako, and Hinako. Below them is the word "MYTH" in Far Eastern script. There is a composite of various individuals behind them; mostly people, but also tengu, Seiryu, a tapir called Baku, and a bakechochin. You might be in there, yourself.

A tsukumogami is when an object matures as to obtain a soul, and thus life. Its disposition tends to hinge on its condition, who owned it, and how it was treated.
Bakechochin─changed lanterns─are a more common type; usually they just catch people unawares with a fright...

#19. CHOCHIN OBAKE Hinako, back turned to the camera, gestures toward three large bakechochin - paper lanterns with long, lulling tongues and single eyes each. They look back at her attentively. A smaller okuri chochin flanks Hinako.
