We had a small but mighty vollie crew for parkrun yesterday as may of our regulars were running the KDF races. Major thank you to Chris, Christina and Amanda for holding down the finish line roles, and guiding 30 runners and walkers through the finish chute.

The 325th edition of Louisville favorite free weekly 5K went off without a hitch on Saturday. We welcomed 47 runners and walkers and enjoyed the debut of our youngest ever Run Director, Landon. He ran the ship with a steady hand and gave a wonderful run brief.

Thanks to all 41 runners and walkers who joined us on Saturday. We had overcast skies and some drizzle that came out of nowhere. But that didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. In fact, we were pleased by how many folks stuck around and yapped in the rain. We love to see it!

2 parkrunners snagged new personal bests and 7-timer Oliver J was 3 seconds away from breaking his own course record set last month. He finished at 16:14 and our tail walkers Margaret & Jake finished in 1 hour and 1 minute. There’s room for everyone at parkrun!

Joe Creason (Jurassic) parkrun #235 was held in wet bulb conditions on Saturday morning. We had 54 runners and walkers plus 1 adorable barkrunner. 15 people got their barcode scanned for the very first time. Looks like fun right? Make plans to join us next Saturday for #236. More info @ link in bio
