Beauty and the Beast except the "beauty" is the widowed merchant and the beast is a hopeless romantic cursed for the crime of falling in love with the wrong kind of person.

Hey, I bet you’ve been getting “Nice Adam West Batman” comments all night. They look pretty similar if it’s not a cartoon. Happy Halloween pal. (Gives you a Krackel)

I only heard Batman BatB animated reading this
BATB Batman doesn't reject the premise of being a comic book character, and he doesn't do everything with a wink and a nod. He plays it utterly sincere, and he takes it serious. Yeah, he's a superhero, and that's a goddamn responsibility befitting the goddamn Batman.

I'd argue that all the major themes and struggles in Aladdin transcend the youthful ages of Aladdin and Jasmine, and those of honesty, trust, and living up to promises -- like Aladdin makes to free Genie -- are automatically universal.
As for BatB, I don't like Linda Woolverton's writing. At all.

Ron Clements & John Musker wanted to make Treasure Planet since they began working at Disney. It was brought up at the same meeting as The Little Mermaid
The only reason we have TLM, BatB, Aladdin, & Hercules was bc they were told they had to make 5 hits before they could make their passion project

First film you saw at the cinema. The real first one, not the pretend one you tell people!
Mine: The Empire Strikes Back, 1980, Wigan. We were near the front and I can still remember how massive the AT-ATs looked, looming over us out of the snow :)
Film, year, where, and whatever stuck with you.

Joker and Harley before 2022, which is now when TSS is retconned to take place. So in the modern moment in time, let's say with that this Batman has already been active for 7 years. Meaning by the time of BATB, he'll have almost exactly a decade long tenure.
