#Macadamia nuts are also developing well! The spring bloom was amazing and if all goes well it will be a bumper harvest - estimated almost 100 nuts on my 10 years old tree.

It’s the #papaya time! Oak leaf papaya, to be exact. These small fruits are just 1 to 2 inches long. Taste like common papaya. Can be eaten with the skin and seeds. This plant survives temperatures down to 30F and thrives in the East Bay. 🌴🌱

Update on my #kiwi fruits. Growing well! Many fruits have set. I started bagging them today because some creatures (squirrels? rats? birds?) started tasting them. Way too early. In the East Bay fruits are usually ripe only in December! #growfood #growyourown #eastbaygarden #bayareagarden
