Ah, wonder why the Betamax was set to record ?!
This may be memory or myth playing games, but I’m sure I remember talk of BBCFour showing it, within the last 15-20 years, but then not put into schedules due to “pressure”.

Pick: 'Fanny and Alexander' is on #BBCFour at 2120.
It's Halloween… um… well, this film has ghosts in it, at least.

Five episodes, every week. Five. They’re trying to break us, so we won’t complain when they axe BBCFour. We’ll demand it. In a few months it’ll be 6, then 12, 24, 48 episodes everyday. They know we can’t resist. The despicable bastards. We’re basically defenceless.

Lovely memories from Alison Steadman. The Singing Detective is a televisual gem. High time for a Blu Ray release surely? #TheSingingDetective #BBCFour

Pick: 'The Seventh Seal' is on #BBCFour at 2130.
Yes, it's the film where the guy plays chess with Death, the one that gets referenced a bunch. Iconic as that bit is, there's a lot more to it…
There's also an Arena revolving around Bergman on afterwards if you wanna stick around.

Robert Bartlett's excellent Normans documentary is on BBCFour for the umpteenth time. It's only 15 yrs old but they don't make them like this anymore. You'd have 6 talking heads if they made it today.

BBCFour may as well bite the bullet at this point and make this a full Chris Rea night. Stick Parting Shots on next, that episode of Gone Fishing he was in and then re-run the ‘97 FA Cup Final #TOTP

This version of Lady Marmalade is played at such a rollicking speed I can't help think that the sentiment from the girls is very much, " Get a move on, pet. I've a 15min slot for you to satisfy my needs in between lunch and my next Teams' call" #totp #nottotp #bbc4 #bbcfour
