Almost can't bring myself to type it, but Barnaby is gone. His latest illness was too much, and after a year of chemotherapy we had to say goodbye. He was the bravest boy, and I don't know what we're going to do without him. Run free, #bdog.

Pupdate: #bdog is mostly sleeping, and is finally eating again. He's even started wagging his tail again. Close monitoring still, but thankfully he doesn't have to spend another night in vet kennels.

Pupdate: #bdog was the best boy today. Very brave, stole the nurses' hearts. He slept most of the day, but this evening was almost back to his naughty self. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Had a workman round to give us an estimate earlier. #bdog took a *serious* dislike to him. I've never seen him snarl like that. We almost asked the guy to leave, because we trust bdog's instincts.
Then the dude took off his hat, and everything was fine. Turns out bdog *really* hates Panama hats.

Tomorrow, #bdog is going into surgery to have some suspicious lumps removed. I hate leaving him with the vet because it terrifies him, but it's better safe than sorry. Please cross your fingers for this Good Boi.
