#NovemberWorldbuilders 5. Well, I couldn't not post today, right?

Purple is the colour of the skin and the eyes of the elbhyr [ele-ruir]. While they may cover themselves in a second skin, their eyes always shine in their natural glory.

Purple is pride. But purple is also balance.

Artwork by Drafru (@drafru.bsky.social‬) showing Ashrah in her natural, demonic form of an elbhyr (pronounced ele-ruir). She's a tall, thin demon (so thin we can see the bones in most of her body) with purple skin, claws, a long, wild white hair, purple eyes, thin horns, pointy ears, and two husks on each side of her mouth, one pointing up, the other down. She wears metal beacers, a chest armour, and a cloak around her neck. Otherwise, she's naked, and we can see she has no sexual or gender marks in this form. Ashrah, in her Bound by Flame outfit, then Balance is a Journey, then Balanced Form, then natural form:

#ChroniclesOfTheRealms #SayaAshrah
Full-body digital illustration of Ashrah by Sasha (@sashthesloth.bsky.social). She wears her Bound By Flame outfit, composed of a grey selendang-like garment draped over her left shoulder and arm, pinned in place by a shoulder armour with a Minotaur-like horn melded into it, an orange chest piece, same colour of a sarong-like skirt and gladiator sandals, and golden arm bracers with Infernal symbols representing strength, power, and will engraved onto them. On her right hand, she wields Datusha, her keris-shaped sapient sword, while on her left palm hovers a sphere of the Eternal Flame. She looks straight ahead with a serious expression. Digital painting of Ashrah, from Chronicles of the Realms, by Sunny (https://bsky.app/profile/inorheona.bsky.social). It depicts her in her white and gold and purple Balance Is A Journey outfit, with Datusha, her keris-shaped sword, raised before her, covering the lower portion of her face. Her hair fans out behind her, and she has the fierce expression of a seasoned, skilled warrior in her purple eyes. A digital illustration of Ashrah by Orlando B (https://bsky.app/profile/sarkastiklover.bsky.social). It shows her in her "Duality Form," half-human and half-demon, the latter represented by her ringed horns and the left hand in her purple demonic skin and claws, closer to the viewer. Her other, human hand, is behind her and grips Datusha. We see Ashrah from a high-angle view, her face set into a deep frown as she readies herself for battle. Fanart of Ashrah in her demonic form by Solid Pawn (https://bsky.app/profile/solidpawn.bsky.social/post/3lz5moghalk2v). It shows the elbhyr [pronounced ele-ruir] in a prowling position, one bent leg in front of the other, her mouth opened to show her teeth and the tusks on each corner of her mouth. Her skin and eyes are purple, a stark contrast with her long, wild white hair.

Random #SayaAshrah / Infernal lore drop based on the LotF post:

While Ashrah and most elbhyr don't have tails, some do. It's short and not very flexible, but it's there. Naturally, elbhyr w/o tails claim they're superior for having no "malformations," while elbhyr w/ tails crown themselves special.

Yes, she's an elbhyr [ele-ruir], a race popularly known as Demon of Pride that also has an intrinsic connection to the Astral Plane, the realm of the spirits, since they're born there! This is her natural form:

... nature. What race did she belong to? What strengths and weaknesses came with this race? What does this say about her as a character? Because I didn't want her demonic race to be merely aesthetic; no, it had to be an integral part of who she is.

It depicts Sareena mid-walk, one foot in front of the other, gripping Alalil (her chained scythes) in each hand, the weapon's chains seeming to dance around her. Her short hair, black with a streak of white, flares with the movement, her horns curling above her head, and she has one of her mischievous smirks on her pale blue face. Full-body commission of Nitara Coliary (pronounced nee-tsa-rah soh-lee-ah-roo), from Chronicles of the Realms, by Sasha (@sashthesloth.bsky.social). Nitara is a tall, broad-shouldered, muscular nensii (kind of a vampire) with large red wings. She wears a fur-lined red coat over a blue waistcoat (with a belt across it), and below that, a white shirt. The tattoo of a winged spear is half-visible below the shirt's v-shaped neckline. She also wears a red sash, trousers, and a pair of blue knee-high boots. She has green eyes, red hair crowned by her blue captain hat, and her fangs peek out from her mouth. In one of her hands, she holds her arylipa (ah-roo-lee-pa), a spear with three points, and in the other, she summons shadow magic.

Ashrah can switch between her natural form, her second skin (her "human" form, woven with spiritual thread), and later her dual form (all depicted below)!
