Three comic book panels. In the first, John Lennon and Cynthia Powell are married as a minister beams at them. She is in full bridal regalia. The caption: “SOON AFTER, JOHN AND CYNTHIA WERE WED...” Second panel shows Cynthia reading a cookbook and mixing ingredients in a bowl as Aunt Mimi gazes lovingly at her. The caption: “AT FIRST, THEY MOVED IN WITH JOHN'S AUNT MIMI! IT WAS A COMFORTABLE PLACE AND MEANT COMPANY FOR CYNTHIA, WHEN JOHN WAS OFF ON TOUR...” third panel shows Cynthia bottle feeding a baby as John look on with a grin: “IN 1963, CYNTHIS GAVE BIRTH TO A SON! IT’S TOO SOON TO TELL IF HE HAS INHERITED HIS FATHER’S MUSICAL TALENTS…” Cynthia says, “THE WAY HE WAILED FOR THIS BOTTLE, JOHN, HE COULD JOIN YOUR BEATLES NOW!”

Weird biographical stuff for Paul. Kind of surreal. It’s like the makers had never heard of a left handed person before

My brother just gave me a wonderful gift, the 1964 Beatles comic from Dell! Always wanted a copy. The bio inside is a mixed bag, some of it correct, some a little off, and some just bizarre. It’s a fun book!
