Exactly 27 years ago, Shane was studying at the Glasgow School Of Art and I was living in Ireland when we met. On a cold Valentines weekend, I flew to Glasgow to visit him and we got VERY drunk on vodka and began painting. We didn’t discuss what we were doing … contd 👇

… we just raised the volume on the stereo and did it. Over that weekend we made 10 artworks (painting, drawing, collage) in a pad. Those works have never been exhibited, in fact very few people have seen them at all. This was the beginning of our collaboration.
