Interestingly, when I took my Clarsach to the community hospital last week, lots of the nurses said they felt happier and more relaxed.

And I thought I was playing for the patients!

We're getting close to Valentines Day.

This tune is a traditional Scottish one, best known for the lyrics written by Robert Burns. It's a love song, for an older couple.

It’s a “two tone Skylark”, with some personal touches by an artist called Jerry Blumire.

The patients had a Valentines Day afternoon tea and the ward staff gave me a wee present (and a bottle of fizz too)!

And yes… I did play the Titanic theme!

My husband got me a harp for Christmas. I’ve always wanted to learn but I’m a rank beginner. I only know notes because of Duolingo music 😆. Just had my second lesson this week and I’m flipping out trying to get hand positioning.
